Poll Worker Appointment Policy

Serving as a poll worker is a vital way to support fair and accessible elections. To ensure consistency and experience at the polls, we follow this appointment process:

How Appointments Are Made:

Priority to Returning Workers

Individuals who have served in the previous election are given the first opportunity to return. It is very important to return messages right away or take the risk of being skipped.

Open Spots Available

After returning workers are placed, additional positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Waitlist System

Because the number of poll workers needed can vary, we maintain a waitlist. Openings often arise unexpectedly, so even if you’re on the waitlist, there’s a good chance you may be called to serve.
