SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT AGENDA ITEMS AND KEY POINTS:
Wastewater treatment plant change order proposal was presented by an engineer involved in the project. Yields $113 K savings without compromise to quality. Unanimously approved.
Representative from Lions Club requests permission to have parade 11am Sept. 12 prior to start of Octoberfest. Unanimously approved.
Letter will be sent to residents regarding upcoming sewer rate increases.
Discussion on annexing land on South Bitner for future Arbor Homes development. Architectural review committee requirements related to homes has been nulled by HP 1001 (affordable housing bill)
$1000 from town’s community service budget will be given to Cambridge City for flood relief.
