BACKGROUND: Poor audio was brought to their attention after last meeting. Improved but some speakers are still difficult to hear.

SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT AGENDA ITEMS AND KEY POINTS:

Routine business including transfer of appropriations, department reports.

Decision made to continue two meetings per month.

Entered into memorandum of understanding between town and school for continued use of school property on south side of Main St. for town sponsored events

Nominated officers for 2026

Public Comments:

One resident questioned if railroad is required to notify town of transportation of hazardous materials. Answer: not required to do so unless there is a derailment.

Council comments: recognized schools, promoted Winterfest, acknowledged community spirit.
