BACKGROUND:

Some improvements in audio but still sub optimal

SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT AGENDA ITEMS AND KEY POINTS:

Routine appointments made to various committees.

Local resident requested reimbursement for door broken down during a police officer call for suspected reported suicide, which was not the case.  The council will consider approving this after estimates are obtained.  Point was made that neither the police or the resident were at fault. 

Department reports.

1.       Street commissioner: Mobile speed monitor sign obtained and installed at school crossing.

2.      Clerk/Treasurer: Town was able to attain some tax monies $211 K  from the state due to the rapid growth of the town.   

Public comment: resident voice concern about increased traffic in Copperstone neighborhood due to drivers wanting to avoid intersection 200S & 500W.  The county manages this region.   Long term plan is roundabout but for more immediate remedy, Council will reach out to County.
