I am a small business owner who has quickly fallen in love with the community around me. My wife and I chose this area because of the township’s willingness to grow while keeping a strong sense of local community and togetherness. I have traveled all around this state for my business, but continue to be drawn back here, to my home.
By running a small business now for over ten years, I have learned the value of a daily budget with long-term goals and look to bring those ideals with me as a candidate. In my day-to-day work I have seen small miracles performed by local first responders. Our neighbors in these jobs deserve to have someone representing them who values their needs and their commitment to our small corner of this state. It is my hope to help steward our community towards the growth it deserves while keeping the unmistakable charm that makes us unique.
I am running for the Vernon Township Trustee Board for simple, practical reasons. As someone who has not lived here my entire life and has not been part of the inner workings of local government, I bring a fresh perspective. From that perspective, I can see opportunities for growth and connection that are currently missing on the Township Board.
While there has been progress in promoting the services the township provides, there is always room to go further. I believe that serving the public means being present with the public, not only from the Trustee, but from the Township Board as a whole. Transparency, visibility, and engagement matter.
I want our township residents to better understand the important work that happens behind the scenes, especially the support provided during people’s most vulnerable moments. This work deserves both recognition and continual improvement.
I am a community member who respects the foundation that has already been built, and I want to help strengthen it by bringing new ideas, new energy, and new voices to the table. I believe our township can be even better, and I want to be part of that progress. Above all, I want to serve my neighbors to the very best of my ability.
