I grew up on the east side of Indianapolis and have lived in Greenfield since 2017. I bring nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, working with people from all walks of life.
You can often find me walking around the neighborhood with my dog, Ghanima, or spending time with my family in New Palestine including my parents, brother, sister-in-law, and nephews whenever I can.
For nearly a decade, I’ve telecommuted from my home office in Greenfield. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Economics from Ball State University and a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Indianapolis.
I’m running because I believe our county needs voices with experience working with people of diverse backgrounds as our community continues to grow and change.
Expanding parks and greenspace for families to have safe spaces to meet, play, and enjoy the outdoors.
Cutting back on tax abatements for warehouses and corporations, by requesting all businesses who wish to have such privileges provide regular updates on how they are benefitting the community by listing the number of jobs they have created and filled with Hancock County residents, how they are helping the surrounding community, and how they are working with the county to improve roads and other infrastructure. If benchmarks are not met, then we will not grant the abatements for the next year to those companies.
Encouraging retention of farmland by granting tax relief to farmers, and providing programs where farmers wishing to sell can break their land into smaller plots for young families wishing to start farming, but perhaps lack the resources to buy large blocks of land.
