SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT AGENDA ITEMS AND KEY POINTS

Very little of substance at this meeting.  They go over fund balances, and get a lot of feedback from their tax lobbyist, Greg Gutteraz.  Two items of interest.  They have begun discussions of salary increases for county employees next year. They re talking between 2 & 3%.  Interesting, because Gutteraz pointed out  yhat projections for the 2027 revenue fall about 1 ½ to 2 million BELOW projected revenue.This is all complicated by SEA 1–the property tax restructuring bill–which BTW, has been pushed off until 2029 for implementation.
