BACKGROUND:

Previous commitment of $99K to architect firm Ratio for Town Center Project.

SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT AGENDA ITEMS AND KEY POINTS:

1.    Clerical correction to a salary ordinance approved.

2.    Presentation by 501-C3 Dragons Den (Tyler Wolfe). Goal to financially support any community child or families in New Palestine school district.  Initial projects: paid down all school lunch debts in district.  Sponsored some families to get Christmas gifts.   Fundraiser at Lions Club this weekend.  Requests some sponsorship from the town.   Approved $750.00 donation.

3.    Town Center Project.  Letter of Intent presented by representatives from design and construction firm Envoy (Dale Davis) and architect firm Ratio.  LOT provides legal framework for discussions between the firms and the town on this project. 

Approved to enter into agreement. 

4.    Staggering terms of council members.  Need to consider HB 1055 effects on election cycle.  Have been in contact with Lisa Lofgreen and Ethan Lawson.  Will report back when more information obtained.

5.    Added agenda item: Town Logos.  Two options developed by design firm Bluesky. Council vote on the two options and chose option H.  (unable to view the two options)
