BACKGROUND:

SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT AGENDA ITEMS AND KEY POINTS:

A Recognize IHSAA Class 4A State Champions. Team members presented them with a Challenge Coin and letter noting how important their achievement is to the town.

B Tax Abatement Compliance (CF1) for Debo Cook properties approved

C. 1st Reading of Ordnance No. 2026-4A (annexation 1000N and 400

W) approved. Note PUD review will be on April 28, 2026. They are moving all requirements simultaneously to expedite. No public comments given.

Department Reports

Town

1.    Roundabout Madison and Broadway to move ASAP. Other roundabouts projected 96th and 400W; SR 9 and 234 (2027) 750 and Broadway (2028)

2.    Working with planners to design bump-out plans to ensure plants and designs hold up through time.

3.    Landmark Park Project is running over budget-looking at different areas to cur costs, varied materials, grants, etc.

Police

1.    May is mental health month, green is the color and encouraging residents to display green ribbons, green lights, etc. Just shine a green light on mental healt.

Parks

1.    Friday, April 24 is Arbor Day and free trees will be available. Farmers Market starts April 30.
