Vernon Township Fire Committee

·   Official chain of command procedures have been approved.

·   Fire Marshal offer has been extended to a candidate and waiting for response.

·   Fire Chief position will open soon with anticipation of start date in January 2026.

Vernon Township Public Library Budget

·         The library will open in the new building this fall.

·         Budget looks good – board did recommend a larger rainy-day fund.

·         Public meeting - no action taken tonight on budget.
